I’m sitting at the kitchen table (yes! we have a great table in our kitchen, right by a huge window overlooking our garden palm and our sunny deck and all the neighbouring gardens – I love my current flat so much), determined to write and post a post because I’ve been irregular with my writing in the recent months. This is why I won’t be renewing my premium subscription at the end of the month – I’m putting this website on the back burner while I get swamped with work for teacher training.
I want to check in with all my readers – by the way, those of you I’m subscribed to – I still get emails about new stuff you put out on your blogs and I read it, but sometimes not in entirety and that’s why I don’t comment. I don’t like commenting on things I hadn’t read fully. My main goal this year is to do well enough in my training and improve all the things I’ll need to be able to do to secure a teaching job for after I’m done (meaning from fall 2023, most likely! I’ll have a gap in the summer, but that’s hard to avoid). So this blog’s going to the back burner, as I said. I already spend enough time doing things unrelated to my course, like daydreaming and going to the beach, so from December the address for this WordPress will be: kotersay.wordpress.com – what it used to be before I started paying for the Basic Plan.
